Outpatient Services

At Samad’s House, residents often attend PHP, IOP, or OP programs during the day and return to the structured sober living environment afterward. This combination of professional treatment and peer accountability helps build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.  We also offer telehealth appointments for some services.

OP (Outpatient Program) Services

What It Includes:

  • Ongoing counseling and check-ins

  • Relapse prevention strategies

  • Continued support while balancing work, school, or family life

Who It’s Best For:
People further along in recovery who are maintaining sobriety while returning to everyday responsibilities.

IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program / High Intensity Outpatient)

What It Includes:

  • Group and individual therapy

  • Life skills training and relapse prevention

  • Family involvement and support

Who It’s Best For:
Those who are stable enough for part-time treatment but still benefit from frequent accountability and therapeutic support.

PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) Services

What It Includes:

  • Structured therapy sessions

  • Group and individual counseling

  • Medical oversight and relapse prevention support

Who It’s Best For:
People stepping down from inpatient rehab or detox who still need daily structure and care.

Kristen Nicholson LPC is trained and experienced in a wide variety of health conditions and clinical disorders associated with Psychology, providing the highest standard of patient care.

She serves as a key clinician in the Samad’s House Outpatient Program, supporting clients through counseling and tailored treatment plans.

Dr. Kelly Coleman

Dr. Kelly Coleman

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counselor

Dr. Kelly Coleman is a native of Milwaukee Wisconsin. She has several degrees; a Business Admin in Education, Masters in Christian Counseling and received her Th.D. in Divinity in 2010. She is also a certified SAC-it (Substance Abuse and Mental Health counselor), Mental Health Coach, Adult Mental health first Aide, and Trauma Informed Care Applications, and Peer Specialist.

Dr. Coleman is an author of two books, called “Ragdoll” followed by a sequel called “Eyes Wide Shut”. These books are based on her lived experience with trauma and substance use. Dr. Coleman specializes in working with people who are in recovery and with substance use challenges, women using substance during pregnancy, trauma bonding relationships, and mental health challenges. Dr. Coleman is the CEO and Founder of “Healing Waters” Where she has hosted empowerment workshops for parents and individual find better way to cope while in recovery. When working with individuals and families her has been to help them revision what healing and recovery looks like to them based on their individual core values. Dr. Coleman also has experience in case management and home visitation.

Graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin with 35 years of experience in Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Anesthesiology, AODA, and Addiction Medicine, serving both the Milwaukee and Green Bay areas, fueled by a deep passion for this vital work.
